|Phil Hodge is Southern Region Director for the Federation of Master Builders, the largest construction industry trade federation in the UK.
With a background in the Chambers of Commerce and prior to this in the technology industries, Phil’s role at the FMB is outward-facing, with the aim of continuously raising standards through training, advice and information. Health and Safety Awareness, Business Training and encouraging the next generation of builders to take up apprenticeships form part of Phil’s objective of making the industry a safer place and more prosperous environment to work in. As a representative force of SME companies, the FMB works both with local and national government, lobbying for the interests of small building companies in the South West and right across the UK.
|Phil is also a core member of the Working Well Together programme, providing practical, hands-on advice on H&S Safety issues in the construction sector. He previously set up a charitable status for a children’s playgroup and is also currently secretary of the FMB SW Charitable Fund.|
