Adopt a School worked closely with CITB to train Construction Ambassadors during the campaign.
The training helped the new Ambasssadors to be more equipped to go into schools and engage with young students. The training covered topics like safeguarding and using the GO Construct Website.
It’ was a fun and challenging role and ambassadors could be involved in anything from leading site visits, to visiting career fairs and mentoring.
Ambassadors needed to have an interest in helping and motivating young people, be a good role model, enjoy their work and be happy to tell other people about it.
The CITB Training days were run by Trainers, Chris Gingell and Angus Hamilton.
