The Footprint project at Bath Abbey is about moving from past to future. Thanks to a pioneering multi-million-pound initiative, the Abbey’s historic floor has been saved from collapse and the building has been opened up to people in new ways, with new LED lighting system and underfloor heating that is powered by renewable energy from Bath’s famous hot springs.

We now have an opportunity to be shown around the building by the project director to better understand what changes were made and what those changes mean to the Abbey and it’s thousands of visitors each year.
