Bath Club – Private Tour of the American Museum and Gardens
The Bath Club Committee has set itself a theme based around “consumption” for 2022/23 as one of the parts to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Goals Programme.
Come and join our speakers, after a guided tour of the American Museum and Gardens, finishing with a chat in the beautiful Amphitheatre overlooking the Claverton Valley (or if it’s wet, in the Vaults).
Drink and cake provided, Plus spot prizes!
Speakers:
- Hear from Matt Amos, Estate Manager, American Museum and their plans for growth and sustainable development
- Guest speaker, Alex McCann, Climate Policy (Planning) Officer and Charlotte Campbell-Burt, Energy Strategy and Projects Manager, Bath & North East Somerset Council
- Hear about our CESW Bath Committees focus on reducing consumption.
Also, as a committee, we are testing our own sustainability during a one week period using an App called AWorld, created in support of ActNow, the UN campaign for individual action on Climate Change and Sustainability. Find out what we learnt!
