InterCity Place will create a brand new space to train and develop the next generation of nurses, paramedics and allied health professionals.

A new home for the School of Nursing and Midwifery and School of Health Professions, will complement the existing clinical facilities on the University of Plymouth main campus and create an unrivalled location where undergraduate and postgraduate students from a variety of disciplines learn together under one roof.

Kier are busy converting the former office block adjacent to the mainline railway station in Plymouth to create the new facilities including full replacement of the façade to dramatically improve the buildings thermal performance, new internal partitions, building services and fit out of the specialist spaces.  On the site visit, you will see some hi-tech temporary works, the progress of the different trades and in places the exposed 1960’s structure.

Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

The event is open to CE Devon & CESW members and is free.

There is no parking on site, so you will need to park in a local public car park
