Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire Club (or CEGlos) is a regional hub of the Constructing Excellence South West and national Constructing Excellence group, which is delivered with BRE. Nationally, Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire was formed over 15 years ago and is a recognised and respected platform for industry improvement which aims to deliver excellence for clients, industry and users through collaborative working.
CEGlos reflects the aims and values of our national parent organisation and brings together stakeholders from across the construction sector to network together and educate each other.
CEGlos is one of the most active Constructing Excellence clubs with over 50 member organisations and hosting at least 12 events each year. The Club operates as a not-for-profit organisation and is run by a committee of volunteer members.
We run a busy and varied events programme which includes site visits, multi-speaker events, discussion forums and social events. As our members represent the full spectrum of stakeholders in the construction sector, from education providers to clients, main contractors, specialist sub-contractors, suppliers and professionals, we are able to ensure a range of events with appeal across our industry.

Meet the Gloucestershire Club Committee
Jonathan White - Chair
Jonathan, Senior Associate and part of the Senior Management Team at Quattro Design Architects.
He works within the Education and Commercial Team successfully delivering a varied range of schemes from new build to refurbishment. He has developed considerable experience in the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and is keen to promote its value and maximise its benefits to clients and developers.
He sees his role as Chair of Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire as being part respected platform for industry improvement which aims to deliver excellence for clients, industry and users through collaborative working.

Nikki Budding - Club Secretary
Nikki is Head of Business Relations at Elmrep in Gloucester, who specialise in offering print management solutions to businesses within Gloucestershire.
Nikki brings with her a wealth of experience in building business relationships, therefore is well known within the local business community and loves to organise events aswell as supporting local charities. Nikki joined CEGlos in 2022 as a member then was asked to step in as Club Secretary since Feb 23, she is enjoying working with the committee and getting to know more about the Construction Industry, whilst organising the events and encouraging new members!

Jenny McLoughlin - Treasurer
Jenny is the Finance Director and co-owner of McLoughlin Planning Ltd, an independent planning consultancy with its head office in Cheltenham.
Jenny trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG, working in audit, before moving into commerce and various voluntary roles including finance governor at a local school.
Construction has always been part of Jenny’s life, many of her family members work in construction and her husband is a town planner. She enjoys being part of the Constructing Excellence Committee, meeting the interesting members and using her accountancy knowledge to help.

Ben Thomas - Vice Chair
Ben is Head of Real Estate in the Cheltenham office of Harrison Clark Rickerby’s, a Top 60 Law firm with offices across England and Wales.
Ben has lived and worked in Cheltenham for over 20 years having moved here from Aberystwyth in West Wales. He finds being part of the Constructing Excellence Committee a great way of engaging with the local construction industry and other property professionals.
He enjoys watching his kids play sport and watching Wales (try to) play rugby, coaching Charlton Rovers Blues U12 football team and playing golf.
