Mark Wakeford is a distinguished leader in the renewable energy sector with a profound commitment to achieving Net Zero goals. With over thirty years of experience, Mark has been instrumental in steering EvoEnergy towards innovative and sustainable energy solutions. Under his leadership, EvoEnergy has pioneered projects such as large-scale solar installations and commercial battery storage, significantly contributing to reducing carbon footprints across various industries.
Mark serves as the Chair of the Skills Group of the Solar Task Force, a collaboration between government and industry experts aimed at increasing the UK’s solar energy capacity from 15 gigawatts (GW) to 70 GW by 2035. This ambitious initiative highlights his dedication to expanding renewable energy infrastructure and overcoming barriers to solar deployment. Mark’s other roles in the sector include Chair of the National Federation of Builders and Vice-Chair of Constructing Excellence Midlands.
