We are pleased to announce the relaunch of CESW Focus Group – Skills Advisory Panel on Tuesday 3 February.
This will be an in person event.
Why Attend?
The region is facing well-recognised challenges:
- A fragmented and confusing skills landscape
- New entrants who are often not work-ready
- A lack of coordinated training pathways
- Increasingly complex qualification and apprenticeship processes
- Skills shortages across retrofit, digital construction, trades and project coordination
These issues, highlighted repeatedly by industry require a joined-up, employer-led response. This event gives you the chance to help shape that response.

9am – Breakfast and Networking
9.30 – 10am – Introductions – Hear from Exeter College on how South West Construction Technical Excellence College (CTEC) will lead regional skill development
10am – 12noon – Interactive Roundtable workshops covering

- Skills Pathways & Workforce Pipeline
- Employer Engagement in Skills
12noon – Next Steps & Lunch
