Constructing Excellence South West is pleased to announce the return of its prestigious awards which celebrate those who have contributed to delivering best practice building and civil engineering projects across the region.
Returning for another year, the South West awards have undergone a complete overhaul for 2023 and are being organised alongside headline sponsor, Southern Construction Framework (SCF).
Entries are encouraged from developers, clients, contractors, specialist and sub-contractors, engineers of all disciplines, members of design and other consultants to recognise projects, schemes, processes or philosophies which have massively contributed to the South West built environment within the last 12 months.
Kevin Harris, interim CEO of Constructing Excellence South West, said: “Being recognised by your peers for delivering best practice and excellence is an incredible achievement that brings with it a host of benefits. From raising staff morale, attracting new clients to raising awareness of your company and helping to strengthen existing relationships, we’d highly recommend anyone operating within construction in the South West to enter our 2023 awards.
“Our regional awards have been celebrating the best in construction for many years and are now regarded as the biggest and brightest celebration of best practice in the South West. Each year we receive some incredible entries, and we have no doubt this year will be even bigger and better than before.”
Kingsley Clarke, Operations Lead from SCF, said: “The CESW awards represent the coming together of truly excellent contractors, consultants and clients across the South West to celebrate the very best we can deliver.
“So, for the third year running, I am delighted to be the headline sponsor once again. This year my team are even more involved with the awards and bringing our expertise to support not only the judging but the event itself.
“You don’t want to miss out this year, not only will submitting an award demonstrate your skills and expertise but being part of the celebrations in July promises to be a highlight of our calendars this year! The chance to represent the SW at the national finals has got to be worth it too!”
Entries for this year’s awards close on Wednesday 5 April and with 15 categories available there’s a range of opportunities to apply for including Project of the Year, Client of the Year, SME of the Year, People Development award and many more.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 20 July at the incredible Aerospace Bristol so all guests can enjoy a delicious meal under the wings of Concorde.
Plus, throughout the evening, donations to charity BillyChip will also be collected. Each year Constructing Excellence South West picks a dedicated charity and this year they will be supporting a charity that makes it possible for businesses and the public to safely and securely support homeless people and rough sleepers.
